Our Exclusive Cardio Kickboxing gloving system is like no other you will find around! It is an excellent way to constantly keep you motivated through the years while achieving short term goals!
Everyone begins their Journey as a white glove and work their way through the ranks as blue glove, purple glove, Silver glove and eventually Gold Glove. Each glove is given as a promotion when the student has excelled to the next level, demonstrating proper techniques and time put in on the mat.
In between each glove there are degrees or stripes given. There are 4 degrees given to every glove and the fifth would then be a new glove color promotion. Remember “A gold glove was a white glove that never quit”
Lurie Fit Cardio Kickboxing class is a mix up of Cardio Kickboxing training and Technique, Calisthenics, Yoga, Cardio Machines, and Weight Training
As you punch and kick real heavy bags and work with various partners you will feel great as you lose weight durning these 1,200 calorie burning informative and inspiring classes.
A typical class will start with a quick Calisthenics warm up followed by a stretch and a movement warm up.
Then we hop on the heavy bags for a round before learning our "technique of the week". Once we go over the technique back on the bags we go for another round.
After that we will partner up and work some pad/mitt drills.
With the final 10 minutes in class we might work on our Cardio machines or Weight train depending on the day.
To finish up we do some core work, our final stretch and line up!
